The brief: every operations dashboard gets a dark mode in the colours of the newer dark product, and the light versions get more colour, because my manager found them dull.
What it is
Each dashboard had its own colours. I moved them onto one set of colour variables with a light and a dark mode, and generated dark from light, so one change to a colour reaches every screen in both modes. Each card carries one bold colour. Fonts, sizes and layout stay as they were: this was a colour change only.
My part
I chose the approach and the palette; the Figma AI agent applied it to the screens from my prompts. The comms deck got the same treatment and has its own piece. Names, logos and numbers here are samples.
