This site is my portfolio. Here is what it collects, and why.
Visit counts
Framer, which hosts this site, counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. This is always on.
Microsoft Clarity, only if you say yes
If you choose Yes on the cookie card, the site loads Google Tag Manager, which loads Microsoft Clarity. Clarity records how pages are used, such as clicks, taps, scrolling and mouse movement, so I can see where people get stuck. What you type into the contact form or Ask AI is masked before it leaves your browser. Clarity sets its own cookies, some of which last up to a year, and Microsoft stores the data. If you choose No, neither tool loads.
Ask AI
Ask AI sends your question to a small service I run on Cloudflare, which answers from my notes with Cloudflare’s AI models. It keeps no record of who asked. When it can’t answer, it saves the question’s text and the date, so I can write a better answer later. Your IP address is used for a moment to limit how many questions one visitor can ask, and is not stored. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you aren’t a bot when a chat starts.
The contact form
When you send the form, your name, email address and message come to my inbox and to a Google Sheet I keep, only so I can reply.
Change your mind
Use Cookie settings below or in the footer. Choosing No after Yes removes Clarity’s cookies from this site and stops it.
